D-Malice is an exceptional talent and ambassador of the ever-evolving music scene. With many strings attached to his bow, the UK based DJ/Producer began DJ’ing at the tender age of 13, heavily influenced by the Old School Garage sound. Not restricted to one genre he tried his hand at Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, R&B, Bhangra and other genres of the world, before finding his real passion for House. At the age of 17, he began producing, mainly Hip-Hop drawing influence from producers such as Pete Rock, J-Dilla, Madlib, MF Doom just to name a few. But the passion for House music took over and so the journey began for this talented producer.From listening to great producers like; Masters At Work, Basement Boys, Dajae, Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Gregory, DJ Spen, Karizma, Atjazz tearing up the dance floors worldwide. Malice took this sound and formed it into his own and in mid 2007 one of the biggest tracks “Gabryelle Re-Edit” hit the UK House scene, which became a big success in clubs, radio stations across the globe.

In 2010 Malice had his first major single “Poison” released on Defected Records, which featured amazing vocals by Rebecca Knight. From then on D-Malice has had releases on other leading labels, such as Soul Candi (SA), Offering Recordings, Adaptation, Seasons, Hed Kandi to name a few. As Malice continued to find comfort in creating the afro house sound through remixing and his own releases, he launched his own music label ‘DM.Recordings’ which pioneers in delivering great deep and afro house music. DM.Recordings was hailed as one of the top afro house labels following the release of D-Malice’s ‘Indian Time’ in 2014.

D-Malice has taken the deep/afro house scene by storm and has become a household name to many clubs and festivals worldwide. Following his debut appearance at the famous ‘ADE Festival’ in 2012 (which he returned to in 2015), he has toured across Europe and Africa delivering unforgettable performances as well as keeping a close ear out for the upcoming talents in different cities worldwide. In 2014, Malice embarked on a tour of South Africa, where he played in the popular club House 22 (Pretoria), and many township events also appearing on 5FM, YFM Radio Station with hosts such as Euphonik, Just Mo & Vinny Da Vinci.

Malice has always strived to influence musicians all over the world by sharing such empowering sounds whilst working alongside some of his very own influences and renowned artists such as Atjazz, Boddhi Satva, Jonny Miller, Rancido, Da Capo, Cuebur, N’Dinga Gaba and much more. Through DM.Recordings, Malice has nurtured great fresh talent that has gained attention by the likes of Black Coffee, Osunlade, to name a few and he continues to change the lives of many more rising stars in addition to creating more sounds for the soul.

You can catch him playing at intimate gigs or large festivals across the world, Malice provides high energy and inspirational sets and never fails to deliver an electric atmosphere either in a club or on his monthly mixes, which showcases House music from artist/producers worldwide.
